About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Drayton Ward, Northside House. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for the line management of junior staff, monitoring their practice, and identifying learning and development needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide line management supervision and appraisals to junior staff
  • Complete ward rotas to ensure the ward is sufficiently and safely staffed
  • Support the development and implementation of recovery-focused interventions
  • Provide training and support to other staff as appropriate

Person Specification
  • RMN qualification
  • At least 2 years post-basic experience, with 1 year at Senior Staff Nurse level
  • Management/leadership experience of junior staff
  • Understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality
  • Fitness to undergo full PMA training and perform full duties of the post
