About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Drayton Ward, Northside House. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for the line management of junior staff, monitoring their practice, and identifying learning and development needs.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will be accountable for your own professional practice, supporting the development and implementation of recovery-focused interventions, and providing training and support to other staff members as needed.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
  • At least 2 years post-basic experience, with 1 year at Senior Staff Nurse level
  • Management and leadership experience, particularly in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
