About the Role

Mentus Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a prestigious, independent healthcare provider. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in an adult psychiatric hospital near Norwich.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long-term service users, ensuring a safe and compassionate care environment.
  • Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times, adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
  • Manage people with long-term health conditions, prioritizing their health problems and intervening appropriately to assist them in complex situations.
  • Diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs, recognizing and working within your own competence level.
  • Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Support, manage, and guide support workers on a daily basis, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Continually develop yourself and the role, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in mental health nursing.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid NMC Pin.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota patterns.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in an acute mental health setting.
What We Offer
  • Hourly rates of pay from £20 per hour, paying up to £25 per hour depending on band and experience.
  • 12-hour shift patterns, working approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Weekend, evening, and night shifts available.
  • Overtime available.
