About the Role

Care South is seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care and Support Assistant at Fern Brook Lodge residential care home. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and meet the individual needs and abilities of our residents, delivering person-centred care that promotes their dignity and well-being.
  • Support and encourage residents to maintain their independence, providing assistance with personal care and daily living tasks as needed.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and community engagement.
