Care South is seeking a kind, caring, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care and Support Professional. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents at Fern Brook Lodge residential care home.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify the needs and abilities of our residents and deliver excellent person-centered care.
- Support and encourage our residents to remain as independent as possible.
- Provide elements of personal care, including washing and dressing where needed.
- Build relationships and provide companionship, getting to know our residents.
- Work in a team to create a co-operative, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
We want you to have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You'll need to be naturally compassionate and understanding of others. Previous care experience is not essential, as we provide a full induction and training program to support you.
