The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance Assistant at Together Dental. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our support office.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing invoices and reconciling supplier accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Managing the Accounts Payable mailbox and setting up and maintaining supplier records.
  • Completing timely supplier statement reconciliations and escalating any issues.
  • Reviewing and resolving debit balances on the ledger.
  • Facilitating the correct coding of laboratory costs to be recharged to associates.
  • Managing approvals and following up with designated approvers.
  • Preparing and processing the fortnightly payment run and ad-hoc manual payments.
  • Ensuring employee expenses are processed timely and accurately.
  • Adhering to Finance processes and controls at all times.
  • Administering and processing corporate credit cards.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to manage their work daily and meet deadlines.
  • Appreciation for the importance of timely, complete, and accurate tasks.

Experience Required:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Prior experience gained working in a Finance department.
  • Computer literacy with good MS Excel skills.
  • Prior experience with Accounting Software - Microsoft Business Central is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications Required:

The ideal candidate will have an interest in studying towards an accounting qualification and be willing to take advantage of study support offered by the company.
