Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Materials Artist to join our Art team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality materials that bring our games to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced material techniques to enhance the visual fidelity of our projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to author sophisticated materials and shaders that integrate seamlessly across different aspects of the game
- Work closely with Technical Artists and Render Engineers to define new material shaders and optimize existing ones
- Develop and maintain efficient material creation pipelines, ensuring consistency and quality across the team
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and productivity, and implement solutions to drive results
Requirements
- Proven experience in creating realistic PBR-compliant materials
- Expertise in real-time game projects and render engines
- Proficiency in node-based material authoring tools such as Substance Suite
- Proficiency in 3D authoring and rendering software such as 3ds Max, Blender, Marmoset, or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills and disciplined work habits
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of photogrammetry and photography
- Knowledge of geology, architecture, or dendrology
- Interest in motorsport
