As a Material Artist, you will be part of a collaborative environment where you can excel and grow, surrounded by industry leaders and innovators.

Our team is dedicated to crafting immersive experiences, and we're seeking a skilled Material Artist to join our Art department. You will work closely with our Art Director, Technical Artists, Scanning Artists, and leveraging the power of Unreal Engine to create stunning, AAA-standard PBR materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create realistic, high-quality PBR materials
  • Collaborate with Environment, Foliage, Scanning, Character, and Vehicle art teams to develop materials and shaders
  • Work with Technical Artists and Render Engineers to define new material shaders and optimize performance
  • Develop and document the material creation pipeline and parameters
  • Identify opportunities to enhance quality and productivity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in creating PBR compliant materials
  • Experience working with real-time game projects and render engines
  • Proficiency in node-based material authoring tools, such as Substance Suite
  • Proficiency in 3D authoring and rendering software, such as 3ds Max, Blender, or Marmoset
  • Strong organizational skills and disciplined work habits

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of photogrammetry and photography
  • Knowledge of geology, architecture, or dendrology
  • Interest in motorsport
