Strategic Project Lead at Thought&Function

The Strategic Project Lead at Thought&Function plays a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic planning and execution of projects. Additionally, the Strategic Project Lead implements project protocols, drives process improvements, and monitors project performance to enhance client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Central point of contact for sales team to assess project feasibility and alignment with company objectives
  • Collaborate with technology, product, and design teams to evaluate company's capacity and resource allocation
  • Work with recruitment to forecast hiring needs and support talent acquisition and development
  • Lead strategic project planning and resource allocation to ensure project success
  • Implement project management processes and drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Evaluate project performance and report on key metrics to inform business decisions
  • Maintain team capacities and oversee project kickoff and handover to ensure smooth project execution
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to project teams to ensure project success
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize project delays and cost overruns
  • Keep stakeholders informed on project progress and status to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Manage conflicts and facilitate decision-making to ensure project success

Requirements

  • Experience in project management within tech or product development, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of sales, delivery, and recruitment functions, including Agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Jira, to track project progress and performance
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail to evaluate project feasibility and performance
  • Leadership and communication abilities to lead project teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with project reporting and metrics to inform business decisions
  • Ability to anticipate hiring needs and collaborate with recruitment to support talent acquisition and development

Nice to haves

  • Project management or Agile certifications to demonstrate expertise and commitment to project management
  • Previous experience in product or project management to demonstrate leadership and project management skills
  • Knowledge of startup lifecycle and Lean Startup principles to inform project planning and execution
