About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our London programmes delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our programmes in London, working closely with stakeholders across the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our London programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the rail industry, including TOCs, TfL, and RDG, to ensure alignment and effective delivery of our programmes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners, suppliers, and customers, ensuring timely and professional resolution of any disputes or issues.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to our London programmes delivery team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and expertise to deliver our programmes successfully.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with our programmes, ensuring we are well-positioned to deliver our objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective project management processes and tools, ensuring we are able to track and report on programme progress effectively.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in programme management, with a strong track record of delivering complex programmes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks, opportunities, and trade-offs in programme delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Experience of working in the rail industry, with a strong understanding of its commercial frameworks and structures.
