Job Title: Accounts Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Team Leader to join our team at Talent Finder Careers. As an Accounts Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Accounts Assistants and working closely with the in-house Company Accountant to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Accounts Assistants and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their targets and deadlines.
  • Review and approve the work of Accounts Assistants to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in the allocation of work within the team and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform various operational and financial reconciliations, including management of the sales ledger, credit control, purchase ledger, and payment runs.
  • Deal with inter-company recharges and reconciliations, as well as day-to-day queries from the accounts team, suppliers, customers, and management.
  • Assist with processing of invoices, payments, journals, and general day-to-day accounting transactions as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an accounts team is required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • High standard of written and spoken English.
  • Previous supervisory experience is desirable.
