Maths Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maths Teacher to join our team at a well-regarded secondary school in Bromley. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering high-quality lessons to students, using a variety of approaches to enhance teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students
  • Monitor student progress and set targets to ensure students achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people
  • Set homework regularly to consolidate and extend learning
  • Track student progress and take appropriate action on student outcomes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Maths or a related field
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications
  • Proven experience of teaching Maths at the secondary or higher education level
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
