About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maths Lecturer to join our team at London South East Colleges. As a Maths Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching a range of Maths-related courses to students of varying abilities. You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager to develop and expand the Maths department, as well as promote other courses in the Maths curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths-related courses to students of varying abilities
  • Assist with the development and expansion of the Maths department
  • Participate in marketing events to promote Maths courses
  • Work with the Curriculum Manager to develop and implement curriculum plans

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy
  • Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this
  • Ability to articulate clearly and make presentations to class groups
  • Efficient administration skills to support good student record keeping
