London, Greater London, United Kingdom National Residential Landlords Association - NRLA Full time
Job Overview

About the NRLA

The National Residential Landlords Association stands as the foremost membership organization in the UK for private residential landlords, providing support and representation for over 100,000 members. Formed from the merger of the RLA and NLA in April 2020, the NRLA is dedicated to addressing the diverse needs of its members.

Our members encompass a wide range of landlords, from those managing extensive property portfolios to individuals renting out single flats. Regardless of their situation, landlords encounter similar regulatory and legal challenges, with over 150 pieces of legislation imposing numerous legal responsibilities within the private residential lettings sector.

In September 2023, the NRLA expanded its services by acquiring Safe2, a company specializing in comprehensive property safety certification. Safe2 equips landlords with a unified compliance service to ensure that gas, electrical safety, and energy performance certificates remain current.

We are continuously seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to enhance our team.

As a small to medium-sized organization, we expect our employees to exhibit adaptability and flexibility in their roles, embracing innovative methods and developing new skills. In return, we strive to foster a positive work environment that encourages learning and professional growth with the support of colleagues.

With over 80% of our revenue derived from our members, their satisfaction is crucial to our sustained success. Therefore, we seek individuals who understand this dynamic and are committed to consistently improving service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is £28,000 - £30,000 per annum. Our team members typically work remotely for up to four days a week, with one day designated for office collaboration.

NRLA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • 25 days of annual leave, increasing with tenure
  • An additional day off for your birthday
  • Salary Sacrifice Pension scheme
  • Life insurance coverage
  • Health and wellbeing cash plan, including EAP and counseling services

  • Assist in the organization of large-scale events, including the Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony, overseeing all operations from inception to completion.
  • Lead the execution of a range of NRLA events, such as webinars and regional events.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned events, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Source and secure both internal and external speakers for events, providing necessary briefings and support.
  • Coordinate with venues to fulfill NRLA's event requirements, including catering, room bookings, and health and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Events & Awards and other departments to manage pre-event briefings and materials for stakeholders.
