Post Office Counter Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Post Office Counter Manager to join our team at WHSmith in Lichfield. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of counter assistants to provide exceptional customer service, meet business goals, and ensure the security of cash and postal items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of counter assistants to achieve business goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure the security of cash and postal items, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with a focus on leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
