Academic Education Manager

Widener University is seeking a highly qualified Director of Clinical Education to join the physical therapy faculty in the College of Health and Human Services. This 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track position requires a strong background in teaching, scholarship, and service, as well as administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively with academic faculty, students, and clinical faculty to ensure seamless clinical education experiences.
- Coordinate and facilitate clinical education placements, ensuring compliance with contractual and site requirements.
- Monitor and document student performance, providing consultation to students and clinical faculty.
- Collect and analyze feedback and data to inform curricular review, program development, and accreditation compliance.
- Develop and maintain clinical sites and clinical faculty, based on program needs and analysis.
- Participate in team and interdisciplinary teaching, demonstrating a commitment to life-long learning.
- Engage in scholarly/clinical work related to area of interest, maintaining currency of clinical and professional knowledge.
- Attend university academic events, and serve on program, college, and university committees as required.
- DPT and/or academic doctorate degree.
- 3+ years teaching experience in physical therapy academic settings.
- APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor (Level 1).
