Job Title: Academic Education Manager

Widener University is seeking a highly qualified Academic Education Manager to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for overseeing the fieldwork component of our Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and oversee the fieldwork component of the OTD Program, including outreach to prospective sites and formulating contractual agreements.
  • Collect, compile, and report pertinent fieldwork data and information required for program evaluation, accreditation, and curriculum decisions.
  • Provide guidance and support to fieldwork educators and students, serving as a resource person for the fieldwork education community.
  • Communicate activities, news, and other relevant information from the academic program to fieldwork settings.
Requirements:
  • Graduated with a degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Earned a doctoral degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in occupational therapy, including supervision of Level I and Level II fieldwork students.
  • Teaching/academic experience preferred.
