About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Production Manager to join our team at Jigsaw Business Group. As a Senior Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Oversee and manage the entire production process to ensure efficient and timely output of high-quality products.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of production managers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering to optimize production processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Equipment Management: Manage and maintain production equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and timely repairs.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze production data and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage resource allocation, including investment requirements to meet production demands.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in production management, preferably within the retail or manufacturing sectors.
  • Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and processes. Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality control principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Other: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in production management software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends.
