Job Title: ServiceNow Platform Architect

About the Role:

The ServiceNow Platform Architect will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and improving the ServiceNow Service Management platform used by Capita to support its external customers and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring platform alignment with the business strategy.
  • Providing consultative technical leadership to the platform team.
  • Creating and maintaining a detailed view of the existing architecture.
  • Providing architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions.
  • Resolving technical escalations, including responding to defects.
  • Participating in process workshops.
  • Working closely with enterprise architecture team.
  • Assisting in migrating configuration across instances.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a ServiceNow Application Architect, carrying out system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Experience using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Form Design, and UI Actions.
  • Experience of the CSM module.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, Service Portal, Service Catalogue, CMDB, Performance Analytics, and Reporting.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Domain Separation and RBAC controls.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Platform Integrations and data normalization.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of scripting in one or more of the following: JavaScript, Web Services, HTML, Angular, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of ServiceNow platform administration.
