Position Summary
Churchill Estates Management Ltd is in search of a dedicated Residential Community Manager for our retirement living facility. We are looking for an individual who enjoys engaging with people and possesses a strong background in administration and customer relations. This dynamic role involves overseeing the community and its activities, positively impacting the lives of our residents and ensuring a seamless retirement living experience.
In this role, you will report to the Area Manager and will be responsible for both property maintenance and delivering exceptional service to residents. As the primary point of contact on-site, you will serve as a friendly neighbor and trusted resource for residents. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various customers and suppliers, managing contractors, scheduling maintenance tasks, conducting health and safety inspections, organizing events and activities for residents, and much more.
This position is crucial for the success of the community and the satisfaction of residents, making it a highly rewarding opportunity.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in fields such as retirement living, social housing, hospitality, uniformed services, charity work, or health and social care. A successful Residential Community Manager is someone who thrives in a front-facing role and is committed to providing outstanding customer service, coupled with strong administrative capabilities.
Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service is essential. With a focus on creating a joyful and fulfilling environment for residents, you should possess an outgoing and friendly demeanor, along with a genuine love for interacting with people. You will need to demonstrate sensitivity and diplomacy while also being efficient and assertive in managing the safety and security of the community, showcasing good judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure. While you will have significant social interaction with residents, you should also be comfortable working independently and using your initiative.
To assist with event organization and effectively manage site maintenance, you should be a proficient administrator, computer literate, and have prior experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
