Churchill Estates Management Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Residential Lodge Supervisor for our retirement community. We are looking for an individual who enjoys engaging with residents and has a strong background in administration and customer service. This diverse role will involve overseeing the community and its activities, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for our Home Owners while facilitating a stress-free retirement lifestyle.
As the primary point of contact on-site, you will report to the Area Manager and be responsible for maintaining the property while delivering exceptional service to Owners. This independent role requires you to be a reliable and approachable presence for residents. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various customers and suppliers, managing contractors, scheduling maintenance, conducting health and safety inspections, organizing events and activities for Owners, and much more.
This position is crucial for the success of the Lodge and the satisfaction of the Owners, making it a highly rewarding opportunity.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in related fields such as retirement living, social housing, hospitality, uniformed services, charity, or health and social care. A successful Residential Lodge Supervisor is someone who thrives in a front-facing role and is committed to providing outstanding customer service alongside strong administrative capabilities.
Your enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service is essential. With a focus on creating a joyful and fulfilling environment for the Owners, you should possess an outgoing and friendly demeanor, coupled with a genuine love for working with people. You will need to demonstrate sensitivity and diplomacy while also exhibiting the efficiency and assertiveness required to ensure the safety and security of the community, showcasing good judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure. While you will engage socially with residents, you should also be comfortable working independently and using your initiative.
To effectively manage events and maintain the site, you should be an experienced administrator, proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
