Niyaa People is a leading provider of housing services, dedicated to delivering exceptional support to our residents. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scheme Manager to join our team in Evesham.
Job Summary
The Scheme Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our scheme, ensuring that residents receive the highest level of service and support. This will involve managing a team of staff, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Support
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with welfare benefits checks, rent and payment queries, and other administrative tasks.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the management of the scheme, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring that the scheme is well-maintained and safe for residents.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including health and safety, building safety, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that the scheme is protected from potential hazards.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective team performance.
Requirements
- Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a housing or residential setting.
- Skills
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Good organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
