About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resuscitation Team Lead to join our dynamic Resuscitation team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a good working relationship with care organisations and effectively coordinate and manage the resuscitation service.
  • Ensure a robust resuscitation service is provided across the Northern Care Alliance, safely resourced, and providing appropriate support clinically, educationally, and managerially.
  • Develop and implement internal processes and procedures to improve resuscitation practices and patient outcomes.
  • Provide leadership, expert knowledge, and advice on evidence-based resuscitation practices to staff and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to national information, policies, guidelines, and procedures that impact the resuscitation service.
  • Develop clinical protocols as a member of the multidisciplinary team to reduce risk and improve patient safety.
  • Provide support and leadership to all members of the Resuscitation team.
  • Act as the main resource for specialist advice, effectively communicating with the multidisciplinary team and reporting to executive teams as required.
Requirements
  • Registered healthcare professional with a 1st level nurse, ODP, or Paramedic qualification.
  • ALS Instructor and APLS Instructor qualifications.
  • Experience of working in Resuscitation Training/Acute Care environment.
  • Extensive experience at Senior Level in an acute setting with experience of Resuscitation Practices.
  • Experience of staff supervision and management.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with a range of stakeholders.
