About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our Amazon team. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team
  • Analyse and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity levels
  • Support and lead a team, handling administrative tasks and building a strong team culture
  • Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service
  • Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes
A Day in the Life

You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your days will include prioritising routine team management and daily operational tasks, as well as individual escalations, process improvement work and wide-scale operational contingency planning.

About the Team

You will be part of the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, which plays a central role in our success. Our team uses air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, to ensure maximum efficiency. We capture data and use it to drive decisions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language
  • Relevant experience in performing data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
  • Experience in a logistical working environment
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
