About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Creative Gardens Donaghadee. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist our Group Head Chef in managing our fast-paced kitchen and preparing high-quality menu items using our own Creative Gardens recipes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Group Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Contribute to the development of new menu items and recipes

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior staff
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
