About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Nursery People. As a trusted recruitment partner for leading companies, we are committed to providing exceptional care and education for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and cater for the daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Promote positive relationships with parents and carers, and encourage their involvement in the nursery.
  • Assist in embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
  • Support a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery.
  • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant and recognised Childcare qualification.
  • Previous experience of working in an Early Years setting in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations.
