Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Night Operations Coordinator to become a vital part of our Transport team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately managing a computerized proof of delivery archiving system. The documentation is in paper format and will necessitate meticulous filing and organization within our records area.

Shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday Nights (Sunday 19:00 – 05:00 & 21:00 - 05:00 Monday - Thursday)

Compensation: £28,542 Per Annum

Key Responsibilities of the Night Operations Coordinator include:

  • Scanning proof of deliveries (PODs)
  • Organizing and archiving PODs within the system
  • Addressing inquiries from credit control
  • Contacting drivers to ensure targets are met
  • Managing any issues arising from these communications
  • Reporting outcomes to Management
  • Following up with drivers on deliveries and collections for our retail and wholesale clients based on daily handovers from Transport planners.
Qualifications

To excel as a Night Operations Coordinator, you should possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • CPC National certification is desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Capability to work independently
  • Adaptable and systematic approach to tasks and training
  • Reliable and conscientious work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying precise information
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Effective prioritization of workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team or work independently
  • Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours
  • Professional demeanor, approachable, and supportive to ensure smooth operations
