Job Title: Optical Assistant

This high-end opticians is seeking a quality-driven Optical Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the practice, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and provide a warm welcome
  • Assist customers in selecting the correct frame for their lenses
  • Measure frames to ensure a perfect fit
  • Order prescription glasses and contact lenses for customers
  • Make follow-up appointments and schedule appointments
  • Make adjustments to frames when customers collect their glasses
  • Conduct pre-screening tests, such as retinal imaging and pressure testing
  • Explain offers and products to customers
  • Process payments from customers
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience working in an opticians
  • Good understanding of English and Maths
  • Basic IT skills
  • Relevant experience in customer service or retail
