Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our client's dynamic healthcare team. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the provision of exceptional care.
- Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with mental health and learning disabilities and formulate appropriate care plans.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Environment Management: Promote and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Advocacy: Advocate for individuals' rights and ensure their voices are heard in the care planning process.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care is delivered.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) qualification.
- Experience: Extensive experience and expertise in working with individuals with acquired brain injuries, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and application of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
- Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and motivate nursing staff.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals and their families.
