About the Role

The Training Equipment Assets Manager will be responsible for leading a small team of equipment administrators and managing a number of Government Furnished Assets (GFA) across multiple RN sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of training equipment to inform the GFA holder.
  • Attend relevant meetings and oversee the management and maintenance of training equipment assets across the Selborne Estates.
  • Provide regular reports on asset utilisation, maintenance schedules, and any issues related to training equipment.
  • Conduct Training Equipment Audits as required and work closely with other Key Stakeholders teams to ensure seamless integration of training equipment into educational programs.
  • Develop and implement updates to the Asset Database and oversee the population and ongoing maintenance of the Asset Database.
  • Manage data quality and ensure data governance, create reports and dashboards to monitor assets and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams and the business to ensure effective asset management throughout the life of the contract and ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance protocols, and relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Managing large amounts of assets and dealing with difficult/unusual requests.
  • Managing a team and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Desirable: Management of Government Assets including alignment with the relevant DefStans and JSP's, working within MoD contracts, risk management, financial analysis, and Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Diploma or working towards qualification.
