Assistant Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Chef to join our team at Moy Park Craigavon. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchens, ensuring a consistent reputation for food quality is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standard.
  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are fully understood and implemented, and daily checking procedures are fully applied.
  • Implement and monitor company policies relating to stock control and stock ordering.
  • Maintain a safe environment in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene, and security legislation and company policies and procedures.
  • Update HACCP records and ensure the security of kitchen and storage areas is maintained at all times.
  • Promote and contribute to a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 2 award in Food Safety and Catering or equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.
