Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Led Catheter Clinic Team Lead to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our urology team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a nurse-led catheter clinic for patients with long-term urethral/suprapubic urinary catheters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and Manage the Nurse-Led Catheter Clinic
  2. Assess and Plan Care for Patients
  3. Provide Education and Support to Patients
  4. Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals
  5. Ensure High-Quality Patient Care
  6. Develop and Implement Clinical Guidelines
  7. Monitor and Evaluate Patient Outcomes
  8. Lead Clinical Meetings and Case Conferences
  9. Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives
Requirements
  • First-Level Registered Nurse with Current Registration
  • Physical Clinical Assessment Skills Course
  • Practice Educator or Teaching Qualification
  • Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Urology Nursing (Desirable)
  • Management Training or Equivalent Experience (Desirable)
