Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincolnshire
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £83.33 - £90 per day
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Lincolnshire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our classroom teachers and enhancing the learning experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with lesson planning and delivery.
- Provide individualised support to students, promoting academic and personal growth.
- Contribute to a positive and effective learning environment, maintaining a high level of student engagement.
- Prepare and organise classroom resources, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning experience.
- Support administrative tasks, such as grading and record-keeping, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Monitor and support students' progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices and educational trends.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.
- Basic knowledge of classroom management techniques and educational best practices.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools is a plus.
