About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Pathway Support Specialist in the Hand Unit at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to a team of secretaries and Hand Consultants
  • Develop and maintain a broad range of administrative skills, including typing, IT literacy, and knowledge of secretarial procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the development of the Hand Unit's administrative processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Digital Dictation, and Lorenzo
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
