Senior Safety Case Engineer

Are you a seasoned professional looking to leverage your expertise in nuclear safety to drive excellence in a dynamic and global business? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Safety Case Engineer to join our team in Manchester, working on a 12-month contract.

The Role

As a Senior Safety Case Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing nuclear safety input to design projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Developing and preparing safety documentation for projects, including Hazard Management Strategies and Safety Reports
  • Managing delivery of work within agreed remits, ensuring cost and programmatic satisfaction for key stakeholders
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's Honours Degree in Science or Engineering
  • Cross-industry experience, with knowledge of a wide range of nuclear facilities and operations
  • Experience in managing teams to deliver large, technically complex safety cases

Please note that due to the security nature of this role, offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining BPSS security clearance.
