About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Case Engineer to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Safety Case Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients by improving the capability, reliability, and availability of their most critical assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nuclear safety input to design projects, ensuring that nuclear safety requirements are incorporated.
  • Provide nuclear safety input to bids.
  • Prepare and agree the Safety Case Strategy.
  • Produce, verify, and approve calculations, analyses, design basis documentation, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with Safety Case Managers, Safety Case Owners, Client Teams, Safety Committees, INSA/Peer Review, NSC, and Regulators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Honours Degree (minimum) in Science or Engineering-related discipline.
  • Cross-industry experience, knowledge of a wide range of nuclear facilities and their operations.
  • Experience in developing and preparing safety documentation for projects such as Hazard Management Strategy, Safety Reports (PSRs, PCSRs, etc.).
  • Experience in managing teams to deliver large, technically complex, fit-for-purpose safety cases.
