About the Role

The Transformation & Strategic Planning Manager will join the Transformation & Strategic Planning team to identify, plan and coordinate execution of strategic initiatives for the business.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and engage with a wide range of teams and stakeholders, both across all areas of our business and outside dmg media, to:

  • Develop long-term strategic growth plans that drive business expansion and revenue growth.
  • Establish priorities to drive initiatives forward and ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve roadblocks and trade-offs to ensure that initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and drive the expected outcome.
  • Constantly identify, analyse and scope new initiatives that align with business objectives.
Main Responsibilities

The Transformation & Strategic Planning Manager will be responsible for:

  • Analyse new and existing growth strategies and prepare clear & succinct recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market and competitive scans and analysis to identify new opportunities and areas for growth, building business cases for recommended investment areas.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics and milestones, preparing updates for the board and senior leadership team.
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Maintain programme plan, critical milestones, tracking of key risks and issues.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience preferably in strategy consulting or in a strategy role within a consumer, media or tech company.
  • Media experience preferred, interest and passion for the media industry mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaborator, skilled at communicating up, down and across the organisation.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategic plans.
  • Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
