Job Summary:

Instastaff Ltd is currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join their distribution and delivery team based in Newark. As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering customers' orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries and route plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
  • Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
  • Installing a range of various products for our customers
  • Making every customer encounter memorable
  • Following a delivery route
  • Pre calling customers before arrival
  • Filling in paperwork as and when required
  • Removing all packaging from each delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar role
  • A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than six penalty points
  • CPC card (and Ideally) Tachograph card
  • A passion for delivering great customer service
  • The ability to handle heavy goods
  • A clean DBS

Working Hours and Benefits:

The working hours for this role are 5 days on, 3 days off, with the working days covering any 5 days over Monday to Sunday. The salary for this role is £13.00 per hour, on a 12-week temp to perm basis.
