Job Summary

We are seeking experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers to join our team at Challenge - TRG Recruitment Limited. As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering white goods to domestic properties, loading and unloading the vehicle, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver white goods to domestic properties
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle with the assistance of a Drivers Mate, ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety at all times
  • Delivering to customers (white goods, wet and dry), ensuring excellent customer service and professionalism at all times
  • Installing a range of different products, with full training provided
  • Contacting customers via phone to advise of arrival times, etc.
  • Completion of paperwork to a high standard, ensuring accurate information is recorded
  • Representing the company as the face of 'Currys', ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered from start to finish
Requirements
  • Full Class C1 (7.5 Tonne) UK / EA driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • In-date CPC card and digitaco
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Commitment and reliability
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service
Working Conditions

The shift pattern is a 5 on, 3 off shift rota, with some weekend working required. Shifts start at 7am and typically last between 8-10 hours, depending on routing, traffic, etc.

Rate of Pay

This role pays £13 per hour, paid weekly in arrears.
