Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire

Job Description:

We are working in partnership with Currys to recruit experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers/Installers to join their teams based out of Newark, Nottinghamshire.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle, carrying out deliveries and installations in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve delivery targets and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard and report any issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV license with 7.5 tonne entitlement.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.
  • Paid weekly in arrears.
  • Opportunities for permanent employment after 8 weeks.
