Weekend Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Food Services Supervisor to join our team at Summer Fields School in Summertown, Oxford. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner to students and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a background in exceptional food catering services and be passionate about creating delicious dining experiences that fuel young minds and ignite taste buds. You will work 18 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays, at an increased rate of 13.49 per hour.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a name for yourself within the food service industry and be part of setting the new standard for education catering. You will work in a prestigious independent school catering to both day pupils and boarders, providing breakfast, lunch, supper, and extensive hospitality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
