About the Role:

As a Principal Supportability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the AUKUS Support Programme, contributing to a significant trilateral defence initiative involving Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This role demands a high level of expertise in engineering and operations, focusing on the through-life support of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team of Supportability Engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical outputs.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project requirements, balancing customer needs with organizational capabilities.
  • Oversee the assurance of technical outputs, implementing rigorous internal review processes.
  • Engage with international partners, demonstrating the ability to navigate diverse perspectives and manage ambiguity.
  • Act as a key member of the leadership team, working alongside the Programme Manager and Technical Lead to shape the programme's future direction.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams across various disciplines.

  • Adaptability to changing environments and project requirements.
  • Background in engineering or operations, with a holistic approach to problem-solving.
