MEP Engineer Lead Opportunity

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a highly skilled MEP Engineer to lead the MEP function on our South West Water Tier 1 clean water, non-infrastructure framework.

About the Role

As the framework lead, you will have the opportunity to shape the MEP function, ensuring mechanical, electrical and process is considered throughout the project, from concept design to commissioning. You will lead a team of mechanical, electrical and process engineers through the installation and commissioning phases of the project, ensuring innovative and efficient delivery of the project scope and delivering client satisfaction at handover.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing the commissioning strategy, liaising with suppliers and facilitating contractor commissioning, and assisting the project team with project completions.
  2. Leading the team of mechanical, EICA, and commissioning engineers to develop best practices, a strong health & safety environment, and value for money, including mentoring graduates, apprentices, and trainees.
  3. Analysing and interpreting data to support a smooth commissioning process.
  4. Experience of the design, installation & commissioning of electrical, mechanical and process assets.
  5. Experience of working to mechanical and/or electrical safe working procedures including producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
  6. Full UK driving licence.
