Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Field Engineer to join our client's close-knit team. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical support for the commissioning of new plant and equipment, review and verify correct installation, function checking, and commissioning of new plant and equipment, and support plants with maintenance according to the Plant Maintenance programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for the commissioning of new plant and equipment
  • Review and verification of correct installation, function checking, and commissioning of new plant and equipment
  • Support plants with maintenance according to the Plant Maintenance programme
  • Supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, installation, and commissioning of control and instrumentation systems and equipment
  • Review and update the technical content of the preventive maintenance procedures
Requirements
  • Familiar with the control and instrumentation equipment and systems
  • Formal Instrumentation Apprenticeship, Tertiary Vocational Qualification to minimum HNC or equivalent
  • Ability to read instrumentation drawings, trip panel drawings, logic diagrams, and tables, PLC and DCS configuration
  • Operational knowledge of industrial plant and process control systems - Siemens & ABB, instrumentation including maintenance & calibration, quality systems on production sites
  • Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments
