National Engineering Director

Job Summary:
2Agriculture Ltd is seeking an experienced National Engineering Manager to lead our multi-skilled team of Engineering Managers across 6 locations. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and leading the maintenance strategy for the company, including capital expenditure, engineering projects, and resource planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, reviewing processes, procedures, and standards across site, led by example and take a proactive approach to implementing change while maintaining a high level of standards, safety, and quality output.
- Support cross-functional departments in the delivery of their objectives, ensuring all necessary housekeeping standards are achieved.
- Lead the maintenance strategy for planned preventative and reactive maintenance to actively reduce downtime.
- Manage contractors and third-party suppliers while encouraging a safety-first and compliant environment across site and with third parties.
- Ensure any contractor, supplier, etc. adheres to the same principles.
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualifications or experience.
- Proven and extensive experience in a similar process manufacturing, preferably animal feed or similar industry.
- Experience of managing a multi-site team and ability to travel.
- Extensive engineering management experience.
- Project Management experience.
- A proven track record of holding a management position with capital expenditure responsibility.
- Experience of all aspects of people management.
- Experience of delivering efficiency improvements.
- Proven understanding of Health and Safety practices.
- Analytical skills to embed and evaluate data and performance/operation metrics.
- Proven organisational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent inter-personal, time management, and decision-making skills.
Desirable:
- Grain/Powder Handling, Milling, Extrusion & Pellet manufacturing experience.
- Leadership/management training.
- Thorough knowledge of the company and its products and processes.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.

Working Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Days of work will predominantly be Monday to Friday, however, there may be a requirement to flex to an alternative working pattern during peak periods.
