  • Collaborate with various business units and external partners to create sourcing and contracting strategies for a long-term investment initiative.
  • Provide effective leadership and management to the assigned team, fostering an environment conducive to success.
  • Offer commercial and supply chain guidance to support delivery programs.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including the development of tender documentation, evaluation, and contract awards.
  • Manage Framework Agreements efficiently.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with external suppliers, offering expertise in cost and pricing.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in supply chain management within the construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of JCT and NEC Construction contracts.
  • Proven track record in developing procurement strategies.
  • Familiarity with business and procurement methodologies, processes, policies, and strategies.
  • Experience in managing contract and supplier performance.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.

Desirable:

  • Experience on the client side.
  • MCIPS qualification.
  • Background in public sector or regulated environments.
