Contract: Full Time - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd. Our team is responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities, and we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial electrical systems
  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance operations to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Work with experienced colleagues to maintain and repair electrical systems, including plumbers, carpenters, painters, and administrators
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience working in a role as an electrical maintenance technician
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
  • Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations
  • Electrical qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • 17th or 18th Edition
  • Certificate in BS7671
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
