Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health and Learning Disability team at NHS Dumfries & Galloway. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing person-centred interventions and group work programmes to support individuals with mental health and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the clinical team to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services
  • Develop and implement group work programmes to promote independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with third sector organisations and community teams to provide comprehensive support
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and effective interventions
  • Provide training and development opportunities to meet the needs of the team

Requirements:

  • Current driving licence (or alternative transport arrangements)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
