We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team at Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and sharing the rich history and culture of our brewery and surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the brewery for tours, including setting up information stands, tidying bar areas, and replenishing bottle coolers.
- Deliver guided tours to groups, showcasing the brewery's history, products, and services.
- Answer visitors' questions and provide additional information as needed.
- Lead groups through tutored tastings and serve at the bar as required.
- Close down the Visitor Centre and bar in accordance with checklists.
- Provide feedback to the Visitor Centre Operations Manager.
- Support events and functions hosted at the brewery as needed.
- Experience in conducting guided tours and sharing knowledge of historical landmarks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A deep appreciation for the history and culture of the brewery and its surrounding area.
- Sales skills to promote the brewery's products and services.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.

Shepherd Neame is an independent family business with a rich history dating back over 300 years.
