Heritage Ambassador

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team at Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and sharing the rich history and culture of our brewery and surrounding area.

• Prepare the brewery for tours, including setting up information stands, tidying bar areas, and replenishing bottle coolers.
• Assist with cellar work, serving in the shop, and assisting with shop stocking and ordering.
• Prepare the Visitor Centre and bar in accordance with checklists and show groups around following a tour route and script.
• Answer visitors' questions, lead groups through tutored tastings, and serve at the bar as required.
• Close down the Visitor Centre and bar in accordance with checklists and provide feedback to the Visitor Centre Manager.

• Experience in conducting guided tours and sharing knowledge of historical landmarks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A deep appreciation for the history and culture of the brewery and its surrounding area.
• Sales skills to promote the brewery's products and services.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
